coming soon: Grit and grace

Grit & Grace began with a simple ask.

Todd, a silversmith and Tonya’s cousin by marriage, reached out to see if she would photograph some of his jewelry. Tonya — a photographer best known for her landscapes — had recently finished creating a couple of books for her family and was ready for something new.

What started as a small project quickly grew. In conversation, the idea of creating a published book highlighting silversmiths came up — at first almost jokingly. But the more they talked, the more it made sense.

Todd brought the craftsmanship.
Tonya brought the lens.

Together, they began documenting the artistry, discipline, and quiet strength behind handmade silver work. The collaboration eventually became Grit & Grace — a book rooted in respect for the craft and the people who keep it alive.
